St Lawrences Ladies GAA team was founded in 2013 and is always on the lookout for new players – whether you are an inter-county player, someone who has been out of the game for a while or a complete beginner!

Last season’s Junior County Championship winners are based in the Chorlton/Stretford area of Manchester. The current squad comprises of girls of all ages, from both Ireland and England and of varying experience with the game.

Lawrences has a proud history of being a family club and in recent years has developed the Ladies team from a few girls at the training pitch on a Saturday morning, to a squad of talented players who want to play football, get fit and have fun.

Training is currently at Turn Moss playing fields on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:30pm.

The new season starts in mid-April with the girls travelling to Liverpool to take on their first opponents of the new campaign. We are looking to retain our Championship trophy, better last year’s league finish and further our All-Britain semi-final success.

The team and management are incredibly proud of the squad’s progress over the past three seasons and are looking forward to recreating the success of last season and pushing on to achieve even further. Lawrences Abú!
