St Lawrences announce Captains for the year
St Lawrence’s have announced their Senior and Junior captains for the 2009 season. The new Senior Captain will be former Enniskillen Gaels man Pete Quinn and the vice captain will be last years senior player of the year, Mayo man Luke Byrne. They will be taking over from Dermot Costello and Trevor O’Grady respectively
The new Junior Captain will be former county board secretary and Errigal Ciaran man Sean Hackett. The Tyrone man on hearing news was quoted as saying “he would be honoured to captain the juniors”.
Underage star and county minor Liam Murphy will continue in his role as vice captain of the juniors for the forthcoming season.
The committee and management of St Lawrence’s would like to wish the lads luck in their new roles.
This Sunday will see the beginning of the new season in Lancashire which will see Lawrence’s host St Peters in the opening round of the senior league in Turn Moss at 1pm. All Players are asked to be there for no later than 12:15 and to let senior manager Jimmy Wray know their availability ASAP on 07709434978. All club members are asked to come and give their support to the team.

Players and members are asked to bring the new club membership form with them on Sunday and give it to any member of the Committee.
